On our recent trip to Atlanta, my favorite place we visited was the Krog Street Tunnel and a portion of the Beltline’s Eastside Trail, and the beautiful and eclectic street art found there.
When researching our trip, Atlanta’s street art was the first ‘must-see’ that really jumped out at me. You can find street art all over the city and especially along the Beltline – a 22 mile former railway corridor around the center of Atlanta.
You could spend hours exploring the Beltline, and not just for the gorgeous and colorful murals. It’s full of walkways, trails, and parks, and runs near tons of different restaurants and shops, my favorite being Ponce City Market. It also happens to be dog friendly 🙂
Murals on Eastside Trail
Tiny Doors ATL
Tiny Doors ATL creates cute little 6 inch art installation doors all over the city. We almost walked by this one located at the entrance to the Krog Street Tunnel. There are several on the Beltline itself, and currently 11 total. Grab a map here or just keep your eyes open as you explore Atlanta. Check out their insta at @tinlydoorsatl
Krog Street Tunnel
Take a break from exploring the murals and grab a bite at Krog Street Market or have a coffee and snack at Revolution Donuts, both just a quick walk from Krog Street Tunnel.
