We can’t say we didn’t have fun in 2016. Maybe a little too much. Here’s how it went down.

We’re lucky enough to live in one of the best beer locations in the world, so choosing a favorite brewery is near impossible.
My top picks for 2016:
Deciduous in Newmarket, New Hampshire
Aside from the amazing brews, Deciduous made my list because of the quiet, cozy taproom and friendly staff. We stop in every time we visit the coast.
Foam in Burlington, Vermont
Foam’s Built to Spill double IPA holds its own against Vermont’s finest and their charcuterie board is the perfect snack after a day of brewery hopping. You won’t find a more beautiful spot for a beer and a snack.
Trillium in Canton, MA
Trillium’s was already a favorite of mine, but their 90’s hip hop playlist earned them some serious bonus points. Not to mention their selection of amazing beer available on-site.

Favorite dish: Worthy Poutine – hand cut fries smothered in VT cheese curds, peppered bacon, and duck fat gravy.
Eventide Oyster Co., Portland, ME
Fresh oysters and the most epic New England clam bake. Ever.
Favorite dish: Brown butter lobster roll and the New England clam bake
Juniper at Hotel Vermont, Burlington, VT
After a marathon New Year’s Eve celebration that didn’t end until 5:30am, we hit Juniper for brunch. They had me at bloody mary bar.
Recommended dish: Seriously, anything from their brunch menu and pair it with a make-your-own bloody mary.
